We are seeking a qualified Field Engineering Technician to join our team in support of testing, integration, training, and maintenance support for our Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) Data Transport Block II Tactical Relay program in Djibouti, Africa.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, operating, and training within the Block II Tactical Relay family of systems. Core competencies for this position shall include extensive knowledge in Satellite Modems, Redundancy Switches, associated cables, and interconnects; Up Converters, Down Converters, High Power Amplifiers (HPAs), Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs), Low Noise Block (LNB); Waveguide (rigid, flex, and elliptical) joints and connections; Intermediate Frequency (IF) cable and connections; Antenna, Antenna motors, Solid State Power Amplifiers (SSPA), Antenna Control Unit (ACU), and associated cabling and interconnects, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Units (if applicable), and Generator (if applicable).
